This documentary has a narrative side to it because it talks about underground sport and how it is now being recognised as a sport and as talent rather than being recognised as a misfit.. this documentary follows codes and conventions of documentaries because like many documentaries it is based on a true story and there are people being constantly interviewed. There is a narrative side to this documentary because it tells the story of people who do this underground sport and it questions them on why they do it and how they came out about doing these sports.
The camera shots in this documentary vary because in the interviews the shots are close up and medium close up but when the athletes show there talent the camera shots used are medium close up, close up, extreme close up and long shot. Another code and convention in this documentary is that there s a narrator saying important points in between particular parts of the documentary. The narrator tells, explains and gives extra information about each sport that is happening. Also the the narrator gives extra information about the athlete that is doing each sport. The documentary is about 5 athletes making 45 tough films all of them showcasing there talent in there specified underground sport.
